optional toppings: lettuce, onion, pickles, mustard, mayo, etc.
DIRECTIONS
Add the ground turkey and all the spices in a large mixing bowl, combine using your hands make sure its well mixed.
Separate the mixture into 3 equal portions then roll each portion into a ball. Press each ball into a patty a little larger in diameter than your hamburger buns (they will shrink a little while cooking). Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Heat the oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Lay the burgers in the hot pan and cook until well browned, about 6 minutes. Flip the burgers over, reduce heat to medium cover the pan and cook an additional 7 to 8 minutes, or until turkey is cooked through.
Take the pan off the heat, lay a slice of cheese on each burger and let sit until cheese is melted. Transfer burgers to your hamburger buns and top with any additional toppings you like.
