Easy to make loose meat sandwiches made with ground beef and pork and seasoned with Italian-style seasonings, served on toasted buns with provolone cheese.
Add the ground beef, ground pork, onion, bell peppers, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper to a dutch oven over medium-high heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef and pork are no longer pink, about 6 minutes.
Stir in the parsley, garlic, basil, oregano, vinegar, and water then bring to a boil
Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has evaporated, 20 to 25 minutes.
Take the dutch oven off the heat then stir the Parmesan in with the meat.
Scoop meat onto toasted buns and top with the provolone cheese, pickles, mayo, and/or lettuce.
