A quick and easy Italian pasta dish consisting of penne pasta tossed in a creamy gorgonzola cheese sauce with chopped kalamata olives.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 ounces penne pasta
  • 6 ounces heavy cream
  • 5 ounces gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 20 pitted kalamata olives, chopped
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper



DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions then drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks: Add the heavy cream and gorgonzola to a large saute pan over medium to medium-low heat and cook, stirring often, until cheese is melted and well combined with the heavy cream.
  3. Take the pan off the heat then gently stir in the cooked pasta and chopped olives.
  4. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
