Add sesame seeds to a dry wok or large non-stick skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until lightly browned, about 2 minutes. Transfer seeds to a bowl and set aside.
Heat the peanut oil in the pan over medium-high.
Add the garlic to the pan and cook while stirring until fragrant, about 2 seconds.
Add the spinach to the pan, stirring often, until spinach wilts, 2 to 3minutes.
Take off the heat and drain the spinach off any excess liquid. Transfer spinach to a large bowl.
Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and toasted sesame seeds to the spinach and toss to combine.
