3 TBSP plus 1 TBSP unsalted butter
1 TBSP olive oil
1 pound large peeled and deveined raw shrimp, tails removed
4 medium garlic cloves, minced
2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
salt & pepper
2 TBSP freshly chopped parsley
crusty bread and/or cooked pasta for serving

1. Melt the 3 TBSP of butter with the oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat.

2. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook, stirring often, for about 2 minutes.

3. Add the garlic, lemon juice, and crushed red pepper to the pan then season generously with salt & pepper. Cook while stirring until shrimp are cooked through (pinkish white in color), about 2 more minutes.

4. Take the pan off the heat and stir in the parsley and remaining 1 TBSP of butter until melted. Taste and season with additional salt & pepper if necessary.

5. Serve with crusty bread and/or cooked pasta.
