INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, cut into wingettes and drumettes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 TBSP peanut oil



DIRECTIONS

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels then use a fork to poke holes all over the wings.
  2. Place the wings into a large bowl and sprinkle on the salt & pepper then toss to coat.
  3. Cover the bowl and set aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  5. Heat the oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Spread the chicken wings out in the a single layer into the skillet.
  7. Cook the wings until lightly browned, about 3 minutes the flip the wings and cook for 3 more minutes.
  8. Place the skillet in the oven and bake the wings until cooked through and crispy, about 25 minutes.
