A quick recipe for tahini. Makes a small amount of tahini but can be scaled up.

Servings: Makes 1 TBSP tahini

Ingredients

2 TBSP sesame seeds
1 tsp neutral flavored oil (I used peanut oil)
pinch of salt

Directions

1. Heat a dry nonstick pan over medium heat. Add the sesame seeds and toast, stirring often, until just lightly golden in color, about 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Grind the toasted sesame seeds into a powder in a mortar & pestle.

3. Stir in the oil and salt.
