Servings: Makes 1 TBSP tahini
Total Time: 5 minutes
- 2 TBSP sesame seeds
- 1 tsp neutral flavored oil (I used peanut oil)
- pinch of salt
- Heat a dry nonstick pan over medium heat. Add the sesame seeds and toast, stirring often, until just lightly golden in color, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Grind the toasted sesame seeds into a powder in a mortar & pestle.
- Stir in the oil and salt.
