Mititei (Romanian Sausages)
Little Romanian skinless sausages made with beef, pork, and spices.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup soda water
Directions
- In a large bowl mix together the beef, pork, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, coriander, and paprika.
- In a small bowl dissolve the baking soda in the soda water then mix into the beef mixture.
- Form the meat mixture into small cylindrical sausage shapes roughly 4-inches long and 1-inch thick. Place the sausages into a container with a lid and refrigerate for 12 hours up to 24 hours.
- Grill or pan fry sausages over medium-high heat until well browned all around and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
