Rinse the green beans thoroughly under cold water. Trim the ends of the green beans and if necessary cut the beans into smaller pieces (roughly 3-inches in length).
Place the green beans in a large mixing bowl then drizzle on the oil and sprinkle on the garlic, salt, and pepper and toss to coat.
Spread then green beans out in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until the beans are tender and have a few brown spots here and there.
