Oven Roasted Green Beans

Fresh green beans seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper then oven roasted and served with fresh lemon wedges.

Oven Roasted Green Beans recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • lemon wedges for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°.

  2. Rinse the green beans thoroughly under cold water. Trim the ends of the green beans and if necessary cut the beans into smaller pieces (roughly 3-inches in length).

  3. Place the green beans in a large mixing bowl then drizzle on the oil and sprinkle on the garlic, salt, and pepper and toss to coat.

  4. Spread then green beans out in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet.

  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the beans are tender and have a few brown spots here and there.

  6. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
