Queso Blanco Dip

A creamy white cheddar dip with fresh jalapenos and spices then topped with fresh diced tomatoes.

Queso Blanco Dip recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces white sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper, diced
  • 1 roma tomato, diced
  • tortilla chips for serving



Directions

  1. Add the heavy cream, cheddar, cumin, onion, garlic, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper to a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Cook, stirring often, until cheese is melted and well combined, about 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in the diced jalapeno then taste and season with additional salt & pepper if needed.

  4. Transfer to a bowl and top with the diced tomato.

  5. Serve with tortilla chips
