Slow Cooker Pork Cacoila

Ingredients
CACOILA:
2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 TBSP tomato paste
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 bay leaves
FOR SERVING:
hearty rolls or steamed rice
Directions
1. Stir together all the Cacoila ingredients in a 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW heat for 7 hours or until pork is tender.
3. Take the lid off the slow cooker and stir.
4. Serve on rolls or over steamed rice.
