INGREDIENTS
1 cup long-grain white rice
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
CONVERSION CALCULATOR
DIRECTIONS
Add rice and water to a medium size saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Cover pan tightly and reduce heat to low. Do Not Remove Lid Until Step 4!
Cook on low for 10 minutes then turn off the heat and let rest 20 minutes. Once Again Do Not Remove Lid!
After rice has rested 20 minutes you can remove the lid and fluff with a fork.
Makes about 3 cups cooked rice.
