Sauteed Fish Tacos

Sauteed Fish Tacos recipe

Ingredients

  • 12oz of your favorite white fish ( I used tilapia), cut into 2 x 2 inch chunks
  • 1/4 cup Mexi Spice
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Cooking oil
  • 8 tortillas, toasted if you you prefer
  • lime wedges
  • ancho lime slaw
  • pico de gallo
  • sprigs of cilantro
  • sour cream



Directions

  1. Coat the fish in Mexi-spice then toss in cornstarch. Shake off excess.

  2. Heat a 12 inch nonstick skillet over high heat with a little oil. Once the oil starts to smoke arrange the half the fish in the pan. Spacing evenly apart. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until crispy and browned.

  3. Remove from pan and repeat the process with the remaining fish.

  4. Serve in the tortillas with all the accompaniments and top them the way you like.
