16-inch baguette, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (about 30 slices)
3 TBSP olive oil
salt & freshly ground black pepper
15 fresh basil leaves, torn into 30 pieces
1 pound fresh mozzarella, cut into 30 slices
10 ounces grape tomatoes, sliced
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Lay the baguette slices in a single layer onto a large baking sheet.
Brush the olive oil on the tops of the baguette slices then sprinkle with a little salt & pepper.
Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
Take the baguette slices out of the oven then top each slice with one piece of basil, one slice of mozzarella, and some grape tomato slices then sprinkle on a little more salt & pepper.
Return the baguette slices to the oven and bake for about 5 more minutes.
