INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small head green cabbage, cored and finely shredded
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 2 TBSP unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes



DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt the butter in a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes and cook about 1 minute.
  3. Add the cabbage and cook, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
